Scope and Contents
Manor of Comandree or St John's. At General Court Baron held 13 January 1779 it is enrolled that whereas at a General Court Baron held 9 October 1776 the death of Lady Chedworth, nee Martha Parker, was presented by homage, now comes Sir William East, Bart., by his attorney, and prays to be admitted to the lands in Great Wenham of which Lady Chedworth died seised. He is admitted. Subscribed by John Ambrose, Steward.
