Admission of tenant, Stanground, Huntingdonshire
Scope and Contents
At a Court of John, Visct. Tyrconnell, before Thos. Eldred, gent., dep. steward. The homage finds that Arthur Hill died since the last Court, seized of land in Farcett Fenn and that Thos. Hill is his eldest son and heir. Now to this Court somes Ann, wife of Arthur, and exhibits his will of 15 March 1749 which says: 'I bequeathe my messuages in the Manors of Stanground and Farcett, Hunts. to my wife for her life-time', and she, being present in Court, prays admission...and she is admitted. Examined by Thos. Eldred, Dep. Steward.
