Scope and Contents
Gregory Elson, blacksmith, of Thorney Fen, Cambs., acknowledgees himself bound to Thomas Power, blacksmith, of Castor, Northants., for £25. The conditions are given on the back, viz. that if G. Elson faithfully fulfils the agreements made in a pair of indentures between Gregory Elson and Elizabeth his wife with Thomas Power, then the obligation to be void. Signed by Gregory Elson, his mark. Witnessed by Roger Pemberton, Johon [sic] Maseingarbe, and John Balland [Balband?].
