Translations into Latin of the lyrics of Gilbert and Sullivan operas, and of the whole text of the cantata 'Trial by Jury'. The translations have parallel texts in English. Typescript with manuscript annotations, mostly on the reverse of the letterhead of James Mahon & Company, stock and share brokers, Glasgow. Each work has a cover title sheet noting that the translation is into 'Latin elegiac verse (with some hexameters)'.
