Immediate Source of Acquisition
The archive of material relating to Clinch's trip to the Soviet Union passed to his son, Alan Clinch. On Alan Clinch's death, the material came to Michael Barton, a friend of the family, who donated it to Cambridge University Library to complement existing archival, print, and ephemeral material relating to the Soviet Union already in the Library.
