Biographical / Historical

John Mole, poet, musician, teacher and printer, was born in 1941 and studied at Magdalene College, Cambridge (BA 1964, MA 1968). He has received Eric Gregory, Cholmondeley and Signal awards, and held Writer in Residence posts at Magdalene College and in the City of London. His volumes of poetry have been published by Peterloo, Secker and Warburg, and Salt, and by smaller presses such as Priapus, Keepsake, Sycamore and Gruffyground. For many years Mole was co-proprietor with Peter Scupham of the Mandeville Press.
