Scope and Contents
Around 130 letters to Papastavrou, found in books from his library, including translations of Greek poems, drafts of book reviews, and profiles of authors, mostly in Greek. Each letter is annotated with the details of the book in which it was found. The authors include Manto Aravantinou, Marios Bainos, Constantine Petrou Cavafy (Konstantinos Petrou Kavaphes), Helene Cohen, Rae Dalven, Ioannes Theophanous Kakrides, N. Kazanzakis, Helle I. Lampride, John Murray, Alexandros Anastasios Pallis (1883- ), Lena Pappa, Panteles Prevelakis, Donald Robertson, Rodes (Kanakaris-)Rouphos (1924-72), Takes Sinopoulos, Kostas Tachtses, Constantine Athanasius Trypanis, Ioanna Tsatsou, Strates Tsirkas (pseud.), and Nanos Valaoritis.
