Soli (Evangelista, Jesus, Petrus, Judas, Caiphas, Magdalena, Pilatus, Pilati Weib) and chorus. Recitatifs in quasi-plainsong notation, chorus in staff notation. Chorale titles and verse numbers noted at several points. Bookplate of Alfred Cortot. Possibly from a work by Samuel Besler, 'Threnodiarum sanctae crucis in salutiferam passionis. Das heilige Leiden...', Breslau, 1612.
