George Frederick Weston: Travel journal and letters
Scope and Contents
The journal comprises copies of letters from George Frederick Weston to his uncle, W.W. Weston, and other relations, from Coblenz, Nuremberg, Munich, Basle and Milan, 1844. The letters were copied by Weston's first wife in 1853, and the originals have not been preserved. The journal is accompanied by loose original letters from [Sicily], Constantinople, Genoa and one describing a journey from Constantinople to Cairo, 1844-1846.
