Scope and Contents

The scrapbook contains reviews, press cuttings and invitation cards. The reviews cover Wilson's books, Gregora: the solitudes, 1931, and the revised edition, 1966; Some aspects of Spanish literary history, 1967; and (with F.J. Norton) Two Spanish verse chap-books, 1969. There are also further reviews, and letters by Wilson's appointment as a Fellow of the British Academy (F.B.A.), 1964. Wilson and others, on Spanish books. The cuttings describe Hispanic Studies; the discovery of Leonardo Da Vinci manuscripts in Spain, 1967; obituaries; and Westmorland, Cumbria, especially with regard to Wilson's brother, Paul N. Wilson, the last Lord Lieutenant of Westmorland. The invitation cards relate to honours dinners and engagements, some of which are also described in the press cuttings, including
