Typescript diary, with photographs, of a tour through Leningrad, Moscow, Kharkov and Kiev, with comments on the political, economic and social system. There are also two letters, 1933, to M. Searson, a member of the party, and Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede, on reading the diary.
