Scope and Contents

Commonplace book given to Powys by his sister Phillipa (Katie) Powys 'for him to use for his wonderful imaginative drawing when the mood takes him. God wot!'. It contains transcriptions from published works of many poems by Thomas Shoel of Montacute, Somerset; notes on Robert Herrick and William Wordsworth; and quotations from letters of William and Dorothy Wordsworth.
