Scope and Contents
Volumes are a continuous run, 'Autobriography to end of T.', referring to the death of Macmullan's wife. Volumes begin almost entirely as prose, but after the start of the second volume, are more often heavily annotated diary extracts. Would appear to have been intended for publication, although this did not occur.
