A typewritten copy of the diary of Philipp von Neumann, used by E. Beresford Chancellor in preparing his translated edition. At the front of the first volume is the bookplate of P.B.M. Allan and the inscription 'John D. Pickles Cambridge June 1974'. Vol. I: 1819-1827 Vol. II: 1828-1835 Vol. III: 1836-1842 Vol. IV: 1843-1850
