Immediate Source of Acquisition
The papers were found in 1974 among the effects of the late Sir Arthur Tansley, who worked with Adamson on studies of the chalk grasslands of the South of England. Tansley probably received the papers during 1921 with the manuscript of Adamson's article on Ditcham Park for the Journal of ecology, which Tansley was then editing. Transferredto the University Library from the Library of the Department of Botany, Cambridge, 1977.
