St. Katharine's Farm, Eastville: Accounts and correspondence
Scope and Contents
The collection contains account books relating to the operations of St Katherine's Farm. There are books listing sums inwards and outwards, 1819-1829; the debit and credit of Samuel Tusting, 1821-1870; and the account current, 1819-1823, and sums outwards, 1819-1821, of Thomas Clater. These papers are supplemented by bundles and loose papers, 1805-1852, comprised of financial records, such as additional accounts, bills, receipts, cheques, and details of pay and expenditure; building plans; leases; records of operations; details of stocks and shares; and plans for a threshing machine.
