Juan Antonio Mayans: Bibliographical notes
Scope and Contents
Bibliographical and biographical notes on Valencian and other Spanish writers, 136 pages. The writing appears to be in the hand of Juan Antonio Mayans, with additional short notes in another hand, possibly that of his elder brother, Gregorio. The manuscript was written for D. Francisco Cerda y Rico after he met the Mayans brothers in Valencia. It contains notes on many writers, notably Ausias March and Mossen Jaime Febrer, and includes descriptions of the rare books and manuscripts in the Mayans' own collection.
