Mostly single leaves; all are in the hand of Peter Warlock (the pseudonym of Philip Heseltine). The pencil numeration, appearing in the top right-hand corner of each item, is used in this handlist.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Items 1-7 were purchased at Sotheby's sale of 29 April 1969, as lots 210-212 and 214. Items 8-44 were purchased at the same sale (lots 215 & 218) by Mr Goodwin G. Weinberg, who on 5 May 1969 presented them to the library. Items 45-48 were purchased at Sotheby's sale of 12 May 1970, as lots 426 and 429. Items 49-83 (which were purchased by Maggs as lots 427 and 430 at the same sale) were subsequently purchased from Maggs as items 271-273 of their catalogue no. 956 (March 1974).
