Scope and Contents

Seven hands. (p. 1) 'An historical treatise of the plantation of Idolatrous religion here in England and of the first preaching of the gospel; Of the building and endowment pf christian Churches and provision made for the maintenance of Priests and Ministers to Attend the Service of God in them.' Unprinted; (p. 113) 'An Historical Treatise of Sacrilege and of the misfortune and evil that cometh thereby.' Unprinted; (p. 135) blank. The book had been prepared to contain some account of English and Welsh dioceses. Inside the front cover are some land tax accounts for the years 1706-7 and a bookseller's label '53'.
