Extracts and notes, mainly from John Steven's continuation of Sir William Dugdale's Monasticon, relating to Buckinghamshire, in Latin and English. On two flyleaves at the beginning is a list of contents in the hand of John Lee, who has also added on fo. 30v 'No. 123 of Whitmore&Fenns Catalogue for 1827 J. Lee'. Inside the front cover: 'J. Lee, Doctors Commons, 1827', Lee's bookplate, and 'Saml. Sandars, Grove Place, Chalfont St. Giles, Bucks.&7 De Vere Gardens, London, W. 1889'.
