Headings and initials are in red or green ink, with occasional ornate coloured initials and use of decorative flowerwork. Following p. 104 are 40pp of printed devotions titled Bona Mors: or A Preparation for a Happy Death, n.p., 1737, parts of which carry a musical accompaniment. A ref. on p. 73 of the MS shows that the MS was designed to be bound with this printed text.
