List of books 'not mentioned in [J.] Ames's History of printing' (1749) in the hand of William Herbert. Includes: p. 1: 'The following papers were collected by Mr Thomas Martin of Palgrave in Suffolk, and communicated to me, W[illiam] H[erbert] by John Fenn Esq., MA & FAS, at East Dereham, in Norfolk, 16 Sep. 1778.' p. ii: '"Books in the custody of me Thomas Martin of Palgrave, which are not mentioned in Mr Ames's History of printing." (The above note before Tales etc. in p. 7).' In Herbert's hand. First and last leaves cut from printed Naval chart. p. ii: 'Preserve this writing' (19th cent. hand) p. 50: blank.
