A theological commonplace book, arranged under headings 'Actions' to 'Zion' (fos 1-193), and 'Angels' to 'Worship' (fos 193v-233). On a flyleaf: '14th Sept. 1719 began the booke being the 4th collection begun att Luke 21'.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Belonged to Samuel Knight DD, prebend of Ely and rector of Bluntisham, Hunts. (d1746). From him descended to J. P. Baumgartner of Milton, Cambs., who presented it to the Library in 1859.
