Africa Inland Mission Trust Limited was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under The Companies Acts, 1908 to 1917 on 20 June 1922. Under its memorandum of association the Company was established:

(a) To act as and allow its name to used as Trustee, whether alone or jointly with any person or persons, for the Africa Inland Mission, whose office is at 78A, East Street, Marylebone, London, accordingly to hold, and to deal with, and dispose of lands, buildings, investments, and property of any kind, real or personal, movable or immovable, in any part of thr world belonging to the said Mission. (b) To purchase, take on lease, or otherwise acquire, hold, manage, let, sell, exchange, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of real and personal property of any tenture, and for any interest, and in any part of the world. (c) To procure (where deemed necessary or expedient) the Company to be duly registered or otherwise constituted or recognised by law in any country or place in which the Company shall from time to time acquire or hold, or contemplate acquiring or holding property.

Though amendments were made to the articles of association the primary purpose of the Company was to handle property matters for Africa Inland Mission. The Company was dissolved in 2005 with its property transferred to Africa Inland Mission International. AIM International was registered with both Companies House and the Charity Commission removing the need for Africa Inland Mission Trust Limited.
