John Walker, of Stretham, Cambs., acknowledges himself bound to Palgrave Barlee, esq., of Clavering, Essex, for £1400. The condition being that if John Walker performs the agreement made in a tripartite indenture of release, made between Barbara Pepys, spinster, John Walker, and Palgrave Barlee, of same date, this obligation to be void. Signed by John Walker, with seal. Witnessed by George Farrin and Thos. Lambe.
