Scope and Contents
At a Court of the Rev. John Smith, D.D., Master of Gonville and Caius Coll., and the Fellows, Lords of the Manor of Buristead, Gt. Shelford, the homage finds that Robert Kidman and Sarah his wife have both died since the last Court, and that Sarah, the wife of John Gibbs, is their only child and heir. And she is present in Court and prays admittance to the lands which Robt. Kidman had by surrender of John Harding 11 Apr. 1727...And Sarah is admitted and afterwards surrendered the lands to the use of her will. Examined by Pell Heigham, gent., steward.
