John Gatwood, husbandman, of Gt. Shelford, for £55 paid to him by Josias Aungier 'cordiner', of the same town, and Mary his wife, all messuage in Gt. Shelford in his own occupation between the land of James Austen, sometime Stephen Horling to the S. and the land of John Ansell, sometime Jollys, N., which he bought by the names of John Watward of William Gatward of Gt. Shelford 25 Jan. 1619...To have and to hold...to the use...of Josias Aungier and Mary his wife. Signed by John Gatwood, his mark. Witnessed by John Brasbene, notary, and William Swallow.
