Scope and Contents

Elizabeth Rayner of Downham Market in the Co. of Norfolk, spinster, acknowledges receipt from Thomas Holman, gent., of the same place, a copyhold tenant of Fenstanton, of all the money due to her by virtue of a conditional surrender made by Thomas Smith, draper, of Stoke Ferry, Norfolk, to Eliz. Rayner in Fenstantion manor. She authorises the steward to enter her acknowledgement in the Court Books. Signed by Elizabeth Rayner. Witnessed by Mary Brighton and William Townshend. Attested by William Townshend and William Smith.
