Scope and Contents

Thomas Andrews, labourer, of Eltisley, bequeathes to his kinsman, William Prat, 10/-, to his kinswoman Judith Jeaps 10/-; to godchildren, each 2/6. To John Wells, his former apprentice, 10/- and 2 suits of clothes. To the town of Eltisley 10/- to be added to the town stock. To his two kinswomen Ellen and Mary Earl each a pair of gloves at 2/6. All the rest of his goods and chattels he gives to his kinsman Thomas Andrews, to be sole executor. Signed by Thomas Andrews. Witnessed by Richard Dix, Christopher Alison, and James Disbrowe.
