Will of Richard Cornell. He bequeathes to Mary Cornell, his eldest daughter, his house and all appurtenances; his wife Jane to have the house until Mary is 21 or is married. To his daughter Frances £20. He also gives to Mary the feather bed with 'boulster' coverlets, blankets, pillows, and bedstead now in the parlour and 'a longe' table with two buffets former bench and bench borde thereunto belonging 'standing' in the parlour and one square table...and various other pieces including a 'nest of boxes standing in the shopp'. And if his wife Mary shall live to enjoy the house, then she shall pay to Judeth White, my sister Elizabeth's daughter, £20. All the rest of his estate to his wife, Jane, his sole executrix. Witnessed by John Mathew and Barnaby Westley. Probate attached states that he died 4 March 1628. Will was proved in July of that year.
