Scope and Contents
Thomas Hutton of Boxworth and Robert Hutton of Dry Drayton sell to Alexander Este the manor of Conington which they had as a gift from John Hutton by deed dated 16 February 1552; they appoint Michael Freyr their attorney to deliver possession. On the back is a certificate of delivery of seisin. Witnesses: John Seytyp?, Richard Barde, Henry Smyth senior, Henry Smyth junior, William Smyth, Thomas Laive, John Harres, John Peverell, Henry Peverell, Richard Baron, Michael Freyr.
