Scope and Contents

Indenture made between Jeremy Goodwyn of Hardstock, Essex, yeoman, and Henry Story of Bartlow, Cambs., shepherd. JeremyGoodwyn for £8 sells to Henry Story 3 roods of land (arable) in Bartlow, called Churchmeadowfeild, which Goodwyn lately purchased of Henry Flacke by deed dated 27 Nov. 1659. Signed by Jeremy Goodwyn (looks more like 'Gooding'). On the back, the delivery of a clod of the said land is witnessed by Henry Beddle and Roobert Mayes.
