Scope and Contents

Whereas the King by letters Patent dated 5 August 1619 has granted to George Marquess of Buckingham the manor of Over with its rights and appurtenances, part of the possessions of the dissolved monastery of Ramsey, for ever, to be held of the King in free and common socage only at a certain yearly rent; George Marquess of Buckingham sells the manor to Richard Miller and Samuel Paske, both of London. Witnesses: Richard Graham, Bar. Juckes, Thomas Fotherley, Gabriel Marshe. Endorsed by William Byrde. With autograph of the Duke of Buckingham, and witnesses.
