Scope and Contents
Thomas Nankervell, Stephen Webb, Robert Bone, William Whetter, John Martin, Bernard Wearne alias Williams, Thomas Mason, all late of St Stephen's-in-Brannell, Richard Hancocke late of St Ives and William Pye, late of Grampound were attached to answer Charles Trevanion who pleaded that they damaged certain property of his at St Stephen's-in-Brannell, The defendants reply that at the time of the supposed trespass the property was their own. Charles Trevanion replies that his suit ought not to be barred as the property was his. The trial was appointed to take place by jury at Launceston. The jury say that the defendants are guilty of the trespass and assess the damages.
