Scope and Contents
At Court Leet and Court Baron held 31 May 1803 before John Finch, Deputy Steward. It was found by homage that Deborah Ashby died seised of certain lands held by her for life with remainder to George Ashby her husband and to their issue, in default to such person as she should appoint; George Ashby was dead and there was no issue; Deborah Ashby had made a will, devising all estates in the County of Cambridge to Rev. William Marshall, Vicar of Shelford, for life. William Marshall was admitted to the lands. Subscribed by John Finch, Deputy Steward.
