In return for service, Robert de Ferles, son of Gerold de Ferles, confirms his gift to Robert son of Randulf de Esminton and to Robert's heirs, of all the land of Esminton. Reserving annual quit-rent of 6s for all services, saving those due to the king (monetary commutations specified). Witnessed by Randulf de Brad', Thomas de Bestenouer, Robert de Manekesie, Thomas [torn], Simon de Hidenie, Simon le Burgeis [torn] de Palern', Walter de Alurichestu', Robert le Porter, Nicholas Hereward, Thomas de Horsie, Richard de Ricardvill, Luke de Midele, and many others. Tag on which the scribe appears to have practised his penmanship, no seal.
