Henry de Cuntevill' confirms his gift to Hugh Medicus and to Hugh's heirs, of a quarter of a yardland ['ferlingus'] called Tholiscroft [Somerset] given to Hugh by Henry's father Robert de Marisco. To be held of Henry and his heirs free from all service save that due to the king. Witnessed by Richard? de Cuntvill', Hunfred' de Bageworth, Hugh T'uet, Adam de Bera, Robert de Lydeam, Robert ?Torremanis, Roger Corbin, Adam de Godesmore, and many others. Tagged pendant green oval seal of Henry de Cunteville with ?ear-of-corn device. Endorsed in later hands: 'Comttemolle / Hugo Medicus / Cobbe', 'unum Ferlingum terre', and 'Co' Leic''.
