Robert de Watenhowe, knight, son of Roger, quitclaims to Alexander de Wandsleg', to Alexander's wife Ysabel, and to his [later their] heirs, all his land 'de le Held', reserving rights of digging a trench from the river bank to his mill. To be held of the capital lords of the fee. Witnessed by Master Reginald de Amsleg', Master Henry then prior of Fo[?]leye, Master Gerard de Fut[?]n', Gilbert de Brymsleye, John de Perpoynt, Robert Torchart, Ranulf de Wandisleg', Geoffrey de le Held, John clerk, and others. Tag and seal wanting. Endorsed in a seventeenth-century hand: 'Waterholbes', and in a modern hand: 'Held / Co Nottingham'.
