Scope and Contents
For homage and service, Robert le Arblast[er] of Assb' [Ashley, Cambridgeshire] confirms his gift to Peter vicar of the church of Wodedittun [Wood Ditton, Cambridgeshire] of a meadow formerly belonging to John Freman, together with a rod and nine and a half feet lying with the meadow. Reserving one halfpenny a year as a quit-rent. Witnessed by Reginald Arsik, Nicholas le Mervelus, Richard le Merveylus, John le Peytevin, Ralph de Cogesshale, William son of William Payn de Chauele, William son of Ranulf, Geoffrey his brother, Humphrey Honeman, Lawrence de Sartun (?), Baldewin Sinopha, Walter Sinopha, Robert Miln' de Dittun, and others. Fragment of tagged pendant green round seal. Endorsed with unidentified device in later hand.
