In consideration of 20s, John Gibet confirms his gift to Bernewell Hospital ['Domus Elemosinarie de Bernewell', Barnwell or Stourbridge Priory, Cambridgeshire], of a messuage with close and croft in Barnwell which he holds currently of the said prior and convent, at an annual rent of eighteen pence. Deed poll, witnessed by Eustace de [?Fr]ancis, Martin Karpentar', William de Kertling', Master Geoffrey Zimentarius, William de ?Firrchis [Furchis?], William Faber, Hugh de Camera, Geoffrey clerk, and others. Endorsed in five different hands ranging from early-fourteenth to seventeenth centuries: Galfr' de Burewell nunc tenet / Reddit' p'tin' ad ?clericos / xviii, Bernwell Cambr' / Cantabr' / terr' in Bernewell / dat' priori et convent' / ibidem / Joh' Gibet'.
