Scope and Contents
Minutes of a meeting of 'the Commissioners of the Property and Income Tax for the University' of Cambridge, at which it was resolved that in future the vice chancellor should pay the stipends of university officers without first deducting income tax, and that the University's tax return should show 'the amount received for fees and payments less the amount of the University Officers' stipends and the general expences of the University establishment exclusive of the repairs of the University Buildings'. Copy, 2 sides, original signed by James Cartmell, chairman.
