Scope and Contents
Whereas by Indentures of Lease and Release dated 29 and 30 September 1829 certain land was conveyed to Stephen Adcock of Cambridge and his heirs by way of mortgage for securing a certain sum by a certain date now past; and whereas Stephen Adcock put up the premises for auction 3 December 1830 when William Christmas of Cambridge purchased them; and whereas by Indentures of Lease and Release dated 23 and 24 December 1830 the premises were conveyed in fee by Stephen Adcock to William Christmas; and whereas a condition of the sale was a covenant for the production to Stephen Adcock of the various Indentures; and whereas William Christmas is become subject to this condition; William Christmas agrees to produce the deeds on any reasonable request, and to have copies made as occasion requires.
