In consideration of #80, John Taylor of Biddenden, Kent, clothier, sells to John Claveringe of Gamlingay, clerk, the property described in Doc 3795. Indenture, signed and sealed by Taylor (seal missing), witnessed by Philip Watson, John Standishe, William Clifford and Edward [-ate?]. Endorsed with a financial calculation and, in an 18th-century hand: 'Abutting against the Parsonage / House', 'Clavering sold to John / Bass 2 conveyances', and 'No 3'.
