Assignment of debtor's estate, Cambridge
Scope and Contents
Whereas by Indenture dated 26 January 1822 all the estate of John William Hobbs of Cambridge, an insolvent debtor, was conveyed to Henry Dance of Lincoln's Inn Fields, Provisional Assignee of the estate of Insolvent Debtors; Henry Dance assigns to William Simpson, of Cambridge, Thomas Wilson of the same and William Bishop of the same all the said estate, to them and their heirs, for the benefit of the creditors. Witnesses: for Henry Dance: Charles Dance; for the remainder: W. G. Ashton, Solicitor, Cambridge. Four seals are attached.
