In consideration of #300, Emonde Greene of Okington, Cambridgeshire, gent, Robert Lawrence of Stow Qui (Stow cum Quy), Cambridgeshire, gent, Samuel Pepis, late of Swavesey, Cambridgeshire, gent, John Rooke of Fen Stanton, Huntingdonshire, yeoman, William Person of Cambridge, glover, and Richard Harris of Eltisworth, Cambridgeshire, gent, sell to Richard Timbs, alderman of Cambridge, a tenement called 'The Ramme' in the parish of St Sepulchre, Cambridge, formerly the property of Thomas Emons of Barnwell, deceased, and now occupied by Edmond Beeston of Cambridge. Harris is a guarantor for the other first parties, and one current lease paying #20 a year is mentioned. Indenture, signed by Greene, Lawrence, Pepys, Rook, Person (his mark), and Harris, witnessed by John Peapys, Joseph ?Roote, Christopher Mayes, Thomas Lightfoote, John More, James King (his mark), John Scott (his mark), and Joseph Gascoyne. Seals wanting. Livery of seisin dated 12 Sep 1645, witnessed by Mayes, John ?Revee, and William ?Whiskin. Further endorsed '10' and '?Feoffment to Timbs'.
