Scope and Contents

In consideration of #25, Robert Cawson of Yarmouth, Norfolk, and his wife Isabel, sell to Robert Nicholls of Cambridge, carpenter, their messuage or tenement in the parish of All Hallows, Cambridge, currently occupied by Nicholls. It is agreed that a common recovery shall be levied in the next Michaelmas law-term to confirm Nicholls' title to the property. Indenture, signed 'Robart Cawsenn' and with the mark of his wife, fragments of two red seals, witnessed by John Sampson and Robert ?Spicer. Contemporary endorsement: 'A Bargaine and sale / from Cawson and / his wief'.
