Scope and Contents
Certifying that, in consideration of #16, Abraham Boston Custance of Sutton, carpenter, has surrendered by the hands of Thomas Boutall and Matthew Oliver three acres of land in Sutton, known as 'Three Menmaths in North Medlands', to the use of William Bradshaw of Sutton, yeoman. Also that Bradshaw is now admitted, upon payment of an undisclosed fine, to the aforesaid land at an unchanged annual rent of 1s. See also Doc 3702. Copy of court roll, examined by Hugh Robert Evans, gent, steward; duty stamp. Lords of the manor are the Dean and Chapter of Ely Cathedral.
