Scope and Contents

The Dean and Chapter of Ely, on the surrender of a lease made to Sarah Beach of Cambridge, executrix of the will of John Brasier of Cambridge, dated 26 November 1744 [Doc 353], let to Andrew Cockle of Cambridge certain land in Cambridge for the term of forty years; the lessee is to repair the pavement opposite the premises; the lessee may not alienate without written licence. Witnesses: John Whittred, Henry Markham. One seal is attached.
