Scope and Contents
Sowersby Smith of Cambridge bequeaths to his granddaughter Anne Rogers a certain sum; to his granddaughter Sarah Rogers a certain sum; the sums to be invested in the name of The Reverend Thomas Rogers, their father, and to be applied to their education till their majority; if one die before majority the other is to have her legacy; if both die, the whole sum is to go to the Reverend Thomas Rogers; he devises to Anne Rogers certain copyhold land at Barrington to her and her heirs for ever; he leaves a certain sum to the poor of St Peter's parish, Cambridge; the residue to his wife Anne and her heirs; he appoints his wife executrix. Witnesses: Ann Stallibrass, George Brooks, Thomas Lombe.
