Indenture of apprenticeship, Bottisham, Cambridgeshire
Scope and Contents
John Long Bottisham with the consent of his mother Maria Long of the same puts himself apprentice to William Barham of Ely, harness-maker, a certain sum to be paid to him by the Reverend James Armitage Bonser, Vicar of Bottisham, and William King, churchwarden of the same. Witness: William King junior. On the back are two receipts for the agreed sums signed by William Barham. Witness: Joseph Watts.
